Today we had lots of fun making our "gingerbread" houses (actually made out of graham crackers). I think the children consumed just as much candy as they ended up putting on their creations! Hopefully the houses made it to your homes without falling apart. Thank you to Lucas H.'s mom, Donna, for helping us with this activity! Morning Class PhotosAfternoon Class PhotosToday we completed our letters to Santa and walked to the post office (inside the drug store) to mail off our letters. Here are some photos from "our journey" (as Brooke and Kendall called it). Morning Class PhotosAfternoon Class PhotosHere are the photos from our afternoon class trip to the Telus World of Science. The day began by watching a short holiday music magic video in the Margaret Zeidler Star Theatre. We then completed the "Cold Factor" program, working through different stations to demonstrate how people and animals adapt to the changing weather in Canada. We ate lunch and visited the exhibits, ending the day in the discovery area where the children had a blast playing in the amazing water feature! A huge thank you to our parent volunteers: Tristan's dad Jamie, Ayden's mom M.J., Leon's dad Cory, and Tristan's mom Sandra (who even helped out the other class because they were short on volunteers!). The day went so well because of your help, thank you! Here are photos from our morning class' trip to the Telus World of Science. The day began by watching a short holiday music video.
